When Is Sally Face 2 Coming Out?

There is no release date. Portable Moose has not announced a day, a month, a quarter or a year, and has not given a release window either. Its press kit lists the date as TBD, the Steam store page reads “To be announced,” and the studio FAQ answers the question with “TBA.”
Three separate official channels say the same thing, so there is no overlooked corner where a date is hiding. Anyone publishing a specific Sally Face 2 release year right now is guessing.
Portable Moose has addressed that guessing directly. In November 2025, after seeing “rumors circulating about release times,” the studio asked players to “only trust information straight from official Portable Moose channels” and said there was no release window at that time. In its 2024 recap it explained the policy behind that: it does not give release estimates until it has a timeframe it is confident about.
The shape of the release is known even though its timing is not: it arrives on Steam Early Access as a single episode — Episode Six — and grows one episode at a time from there. The hub has that in full.
What is still unannounced
Beyond the date itself, three things are frequently reported as if they were settled. None of them are.
How long Early Access runs. Portable Moose has said it hopes to be in Early Access for less than a year. That is a hope attached to a starting point that does not exist yet, so it cannot be turned into a finish date — and it is not one.
The price. The studio has said the price will go up after Early Access ends. It has never published a number for either period.
Which consoles. Console and mobile versions are planned, but no individual platform has been named. The platforms page has the full matrix.

What an actual announcement would look like
Two things would have to change on official channels, and neither has:
A date or a window on the Steam page. The release field currently reads “To be announced.” Any year, quarter or month appearing there is the announcement — it does not need a separate post.
A statement from Portable Moose itself. The studio has said it will share more when it is ready, and has asked people to treat anything from elsewhere as unverified.
Until then, the honest answer to “when” is the one at the top of this page.
