The official teaser

The only standalone official Sally Face 2 video Portable Moose has published, posted on the day the sequel was announced. No release date, platform list or price accompanies it: as of our last check, both the press kit and the Steam page still read TBD.

If you have seen it on the Steam page, you have seen this one — Steam carries the same file rather than a separate cut. The press kit’s video folder holds the same material again, packaged for press use, so there is nothing in it you cannot watch here.

The announcement it came from

The livestream the sequel was announced in — Portable Moose billed it as a celebration of ten years of Sally Face, so the sequel reveal is one part of a longer broadcast rather than the whole of it. This is the primary record of the announcement itself.

What no official video has shown yet

Neither video announces a release date, a price or a named console, and no official video has shown extended gameplay, a user interface, a menu or a single named character. Everything anyone knows about how Sally Face 2 plays comes from the press kit’s written description, not from footage.

Two categories show up constantly in search results and neither belongs here:

Original-game videos. Portable Moose’s back catalogue includes a developer Q&A, a studio retrospective, and a mobile trailer posted the same day as the teaser — that last one catches people out, because it is new, it is official, and it is not about the sequel. They are all about the first game.

Third-party “Sally Face 2 is real” videos. Several creators covered the announcement, some in languages other than English, and several rank well. They are commentary on the teaser above, not sources. Anything they confirm, the teaser and the store page confirm first.
