Yes. Sandustry is included with PC Game Pass and with Game Pass Ultimate, as a Game Preview title. It is a PC release — there is no console version and no cloud streaming.

If you are on Ultimate you already have it. If you are on the console-only tier, a Game Pass subscription does not get you Sandustry, because there is nothing to run it on.
What “Game Preview” means here
Game Preview is Xbox’s label for a game still in development — the same release Steam calls Early Access. Sandustry entered it on 13 August 2026.
Practically: the game is playable and being actively updated, mechanics can change between patches, and a save that works today may behave differently after an update. That is the deal you are accepting, and it is the same deal on every storefront.
Game Pass or Steam?
Both give you the same game. The difference is what happens around it:
- Game Pass costs nothing extra if you already subscribe, and your saves sync through Xbox cloud saves. You keep access for as long as the game stays in the catalogue.
- Steam is a purchase you keep, and it is where the developers post patch notes and the pinned support threads that most troubleshooting starts from.
If you already pay for Ultimate, start on Game Pass. There is no reason to buy the game twice to try it.
