Both tiers require a four-core/eight-thread CPU and a GPU supporting DirectX 12.1 plus Shader Model 6.6. The target figures are native-preset descriptions; Steam does not say upscaling or frame generation is required to reach them.
Can a GTX 1650 run it?
A desktop GTX 1650 normally has 4 GB of VRAM and sits below the listed GTX 1060 6 GB minimum. It may launch at reduced settings and resolution, but it is outside the configuration Asobo promises for 1080p/30 Low. Treat any positive report as machine-specific, not a new minimum.
For borderline hardware:
- Install to an SSD, not a hard drive.
- Start at 1080p Low with motion blur reduced.
- Cap to 30 fps before judging frame pacing.
- Watch VRAM use; texture quality is the first setting to reduce on a 4 GB card.
CPU questions are simpler. An i7-11700K clears the requirement comfortably: the floor is a four-core, eight-thread i3-12100 and the recommended tier is a six-core i5-12400F, so on that kind of system the GPU decides the preset, not the processor.
If the game will not reach the menu, use the launch-fix checklist before assuming the GPU alone is responsible.
Does Resonance use Denuvo?
The Steam store lists its standard Steam DRM/EULA context and does not list Denuvo Anti-Tamper. Launch trackers likewise report no Denuvo. That is a purchasing and performance fact only; this site does not provide or link to unauthorized copies.
Steam Deck performance
Valve’s own rating is Playable, not Verified. The compatibility report flags one item—some interface text is small on the Deck screen—and passes the default controller layout, the button glyphs and the default-settings performance check. That is the official floor; launch-week community reports fill in the rest: aim for a 30 fps cap and Low settings, and expect shader and frame-time stutters plus trouble in a few heavy scenes. The Deck sits below the official desktop GPU target.
Do not confuse “it launches” with a stable recommendation. If a handheld is your only way to play, Game Pass cloud streaming on Ultimate is the safer route.
