Cinemas live in their own building family — S1, S2 and S3 — so none of the retail
blueprints will load into one. Below are the thirty cinema layouts the most players have
subscribed to, with the code each fits. Check the code on your lease first.
Cinemas arrived in Early Access 0.10 alongside theatres, and Hovgaard introduced them as the largest businesses in the game, with “some steep licensing fees”. They brought three new employee types — actors, stage crew and projectionists — a recruitment agency for them, C.A.S.T, a furniture store for the Broadway strip, Red Carpet Decor, and four products to sell at the concessions counter: popcorn, cotton candy, slushies and a cheese platter.
That is why a cinema blueprint is worth more than a gift-shop one. The building is big, the fit-out is expensive, and the customer flow between the entrance, the concessions counter and the screens is the kind of thing that takes several attempts to get right.

Theatres are a different building
Theatres share the 0.10 update and the Broadway neighbourhood, but they use R1–R3 codes, not
S. A theatre layout will not load into a cinema or vice versa. The
blueprint gallery has a separate section for them.
