A fast food restaurant needs a cash register on a counter — the checkout counters other shops use will not work — and at least one main product. Everything else in the layout is about how many customers the appliances can serve at once, which is what these blueprints have already solved.
What the building has to contain
The community’s requirements list is short and specific:
- A cash register that sits on a counter or cabinet. The left and right checkout counters that a gift shop or supermarket uses cannot be used here.
- At least one main product. Burgers, fries, hot dogs, pizza, salad, soda, ice cream or chicken kebab skewers, each with its own appliance.
- Customer service and cleaning staff to keep both sales and satisfaction up. A cleaning station is optional.
Each appliance holds a fixed amount of product and serves a fixed number of customers at once — the wiki records a salad bar at 350 product / 20 customers and a fries station at 200 / 30 — so a layout is really a decision about which of those numbers to stack. That is the part the blueprints below have already made.
The blueprints
Building codes these blueprints are saved for: C2 (9), M1 (6), A1 (5), A2 (4), C1 (3), D2 (3)
Making your own supply
Every fast food product can be manufactured rather than imported. The factory planner has the chain for burgers (buns, patties and sliced cheese on four machines), fries, hot dogs and pizza, with the importer for every raw ingredient.
