Sephiria Talents

All seven Sephiria talent lines, every level 5, 10 and 20 breakpoint, and where your 45 points come from — against the 140 it would take to max everything.

There are 7 talent lines, each capped at 20 points, with breakpoints at levels 5, 10 and 20. The ceiling is 45 points — 25 bought from the Destiny Inscription, and up to 20 more awarded at Hard Mode thresholds. Maxing every line would take 140, so this is an allocation problem, not a grind.

The budget is the whole game

45 points, 140 to max everything. That ratio is the only thing you really need to hold in your head: you can fully commit to 2 lines and have five points left over, and that is the ceiling — not a stage you pass through.

So the interesting decisions are not “is this line good”. They are:

  • Stop at 10, or push to 20? The level 20 breakpoints are the strongest single effects in the system, and each one costs ten more points — nearly a quarter of everything you will ever have. Two lines at 10 and one at 20 costs the same as two lines at 20.
  • Spread or commit? 45 points across seven lines is six or seven points each — enough to clear the level 5 breakpoint on every line and nothing beyond it. Committing two lines to 20 buys you the two strongest effects in the system and leaves five points, which is one more level 5. Both are legal; they are different games.

Where the 45 comes from

This number is worth showing the working for, because you will see 50 elsewhere.

25 points come from the Destiny Inscription. There are five Talent Point nodes in the tree, at tiers 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9. Each has five levels, and each one’s in-game text reads +1/+2/+3/+4/+5 Talent Points — a running total, so a fully bought node has given you five. Five nodes, five points each. That figure is not transcribed from anywhere: this site’s Destiny Inscription Planner holds every node and its levels, and the number on this page is counted from that same file at build time.

A sixth node, Home Repairs at tier 1, is what switches Talents on at all — it grants no points itself, and until you finish its side quest you cannot assign any.

Up to 20 more come from Hard Mode, awarded at thresholds as you climb Root’s Retreat. Two things separate this half from the first: it is community-sourced — TEAM HORAY has never published the ladder — and it has to be collected. The Inscription’s 25 are bought once and yours; the Hard Mode points sit at specific tiers, so a route that skips tiers can arrive at the top with fewer than 20.

That is why this page says the ceiling is 45 rather than promising it. 25 plus 20 is 45, and that is the most anyone can hold.

The competing figure of 50 rests on the Destiny Inscription giving 30 rather than 25. It comes from one source, whose own Destiny Inscription page lists the same five nodes this site does — so that source disagrees with itself, and the half of it that matches our node data is the half that gives 25.

Two lines unlock a mechanic, not a number

Most breakpoints hand you a stat. Two hand you a system, and neither is documented anywhere else on this site:

Survival at level 20 unlocks Tablet Imprinting — and charges you 12 inventory cells for it. That is a real price: cells are where your build lives. Imprinting lets you consume a Tablet to keep its boost without keeping the Tablet on the grid. TEAM HORAY names the mechanic in its own 1.0.30 patch notes, where it fixed a bug that destroyed the Tablet without applying the effect when the conditions were not met.

Wisdom at level 10 unlocks [Unique] Stacking, and it is the most far-reaching breakpoint in the system. Normally an Artifact marked [Unique] is offered once per run and never again. With Wisdom 10, it can come round a second time — which quietly changes how the Artifacts database and the Combos behave. Combo tags whose carriers are all [Unique] are the hardest to fill precisely because nothing repeats; Wisdom 10 is the answer to that problem, and it is the reason the pool sizes on the Miracles page are a measure of how much choice you have rather than a hard wall.

What is confirmed and what is not

TEAM HORAY has never published a talent table. But it has said a great deal in passing, across an archive of 106 announcements going back to June 2024, and more of this page is officially backed than a community-sourced label suggests.

The 5 / 10 / 20 structure is official, stated when the system was rebuilt in February 2025: “the new talent system allows players to invest talent points in various key attributes to become stronger, with unique effects unlocked at levels 5, 10, and 20.”

Six of the seven lines are named in patch notes — only Swiftness has never appeared in prose. And six individual breakpoints have had their effects stated or corrected officially; those cards carry a link to the announcement. Every one of them matches what the community sources say, which is the strongest evidence available that the rest of the table is sound.

Two things are worth knowing about the ones that are not linked:

  • Wisdom’s level 5 is deliberately not linked, even though an official note discusses it. That note changed it, in May 2025, to something our data does not say — so quoting it here would pass off a superseded value as confirmation of the current one.
  • Everything official above predates 1.0 by months. It attests that these lines and breakpoints exist and roughly what they do; it does not certify today’s numbers.

On the name Endure

A 2025 patch note calls the fourth line Endurance. Our data calls it Endure, and that is deliberate.

TEAM HORAY opens its patch notes with a warning that they are machine-translated and “may not translate proper nouns correctly” — and the archive shows exactly that. This line has been rendered “Endurance”. Survival was once “Survive”. Willpower was “Will” until December 2025. In both cases where a name later settled, it settled on the word our data already uses. Endure follows that pattern. If you are searching 2025 patch notes, search for Endurance.

That warning is worth carrying beyond this page: where the official English and the community sources differ on a name, the community sources are often closer to the game, because they are reading the game rather than a translation of a changelog.

The correction that got us here

An earlier version of this page said TEAM HORAY had named exactly one talent line. That was wrong, and the reason matters more than the error: the announcements were first read through an API call that silently returned only the newest thirty of what were then 102. Any claim of the form “the developer has never mentioned this” is worth only as much as the window it was checked against, and ours was a third of the record.

The per-line cap of 20 is the one figure neither source states in words — it is read off the end of both scaling tables, which stop at 20 and agree that they do. No announcement has ever stated a talent point total or cap. The phrase “talent point” appears exactly once in all 106, in the sentence quoted above, with no number attached. So the 45 on this page is uncontradicted by the official record as well as derived from it.
