Pick a weapon and read down. Tier 2 is a branch off the base weapon; Tier 3 hangs off a specific Tier 2 — so what you can reach depends on which branch you took. Anything TEAM HORAY has changed since launch carries a badge linking to the patch that changed it.

9 Tier 2 branches, 28 named upgrades in total, 2 of them changed by an official patch since launch.

Why the tree shape matters

Most weapon pages give you a list. A list tells you an upgrade exists; it does not tell you whether you can get to it from where you are. In Sephiria the anvil offers upgrades along the branch you are already on, so “Breath of Ice is good” is only useful once you know it sits under Magic Wand.

Filtering keeps that intact: search for a Tier 3 upgrade and its parent branch stays on screen with it, because the route is the answer.

The patch badges

This is the part that decays fastest and the part nobody else tracks. 7 upgrades in this tree have been changed by an official patch since 1.0 launched, and one of them mattered a great deal: Breath of Ice promised “+40% Dash Attack Damage” and delivered 30% until 1 August. Any build written against it before then was tested on a weaker weapon.

The badges come from cross-referencing TEAM HORAY’s own patch notes against the upgrade names, matched exactly. Exact matching is deliberate — every weapon family has a Solis upgrade (Missio, Cineris, Imber, Iubar, Ekli, Braca), and a loose match would stamp a change to one of them onto the other five.

What this tree is, and what it is not

It documents every Tier 2 and Tier 3 upgrade recorded in Kean’s Sephiria Compendium, which tracks the current patch and marks its weapon data complete for 1.0.29. That comes to 50 branches and 101 Tier 3 upgrades across the 6 weapons.

TEAM HORAY’s store page says “over 50 unique upgrades” per weapon, and the 1.0 announcement says “over 200 upgrades” across the six branches. Those two official figures do not agree with each other, and neither agrees with what is documented here. We have not been able to work out what the larger numbers are counting — so rather than pick whichever figure sounds best, this page shows the tree that can be checked, states its size exactly, and tells you the official claim is higher.

One correction worth recording, because it is the method working: the compendium listed the Crossbow upgrade as “Solis lubar” with a lowercase L. TEAM HORAY’s 1.0.23 notes spell it Solis Iubar — Latin for radiance, matching the rest of the Solis series. The official spelling is used here.
